Reuben Morgan
Reuben has been an all-styles professional musician for over 50 years, touring many nightclub circuits with various bands in the 1970’s. He then performed at major concert venues with Johnny Rodriguiez band, opening for Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Charlie Rich, just to name a few.
Later he toured with a 10 pc R & B Band from Atlanta, Georgia, encompassing the grits and gravy circuit with acts including The Bar-kays, Al Green, James Brown, and many more talented performers.
Reuben’s composing career began at an early age with a 45-rpm recording, produced and engineered by Mylon LeFevre & Rodney Mills. He currently has 3 collections of music available.

1990’s “No Worries” recording w/ 10 songs which includes a song “Life Down on The Bistro” about a folk music club from late 60’s and early 70’s which featured weekly acts such as Steve Goodman, Gamble Rogers, Jimmy Buffett and more talented musicians. “The Bistro” is included in a biography of Steve Goodman, in its 7th printing written by Seattle author Clay Eals. “Facing The Music,” a biography of the life of Steve Goodman can be found at www.clayeals.com. 2022’s “Wellsprings,” Reuben Morgan can be found as a CD on the merchandise page. It includes a booklet of photos and family history. The music is on all streaming platforms as Wellsprings Reuben Morgan. The recording includes 10 songs, produced by Dan Walters.
Reuben is performing solo at selected locations along with the Trio “Deep Pocket Lizards”
and Cooljams Rhythm Section.
